Roughing is one of the key tasks to be considered when leather and/or synthetic textile uppers are to be attached in direct soling processes. The connection of an upper to the sole of the shoe depends essentially on how well the areas of contact have been prepared. To achieve optimum adhesion of polyurethane foam and the different materials used for the uppers, careful preparation in a precise and reproducible process is essential.

This perfect preparation has been the driving force in the development of our upgraded Roughing Solutions and we would now like to present these  to you during our upcoming webinar.

During the webinar, Andre Kroker and Tim Bardenhagen from DESMA will show how this upgraded technology enhances  your production and how automated processes  can leverage your production output and efficiency. After a general overview, DESMA experts then take an in-depth look at the different technologies and applications, before introducing  our new roughing head, which is mounted to a robot-based solution.
