The time has finally come: our traditional DESMA House Fair will take place once again on 26 and 27 September and we look forward to welcoming you all to Achim then.

Up until 2018, the DESMA House Fair provided a regular opportunity for the international footwear industry to get together in Achim. Every two years, more than 50 exhibitors and 780 visitors from six continents regularly came here to obtain information about innovations and new technologies. We are now about to continue that tradition. In keeping with the House Fair slogan “Technology matters” you will be able to find out more about the latest developments in direct soling, new automation tools and customisation solutions.

Customisation and flexibility are key factors in the footwear industry. We have responded to these demands with new processes, machine configurations, designs and materials. Multi Section Injection (MSI), i.e. injecting material into different sections of the sole, allows us to create different features within one sole. The Centre Wedge and DESwing processes allow even more design options and different properties in multi-coloured soles as well as a combination of different materials.

Resource-saving production, reducing costs, raising quality – thanks to robot and automation solutions as well as networked production units, we can satisfy these requests from our customer. 1500 solutions installed worldwide are irrefutable proof.

Direct soling technology backed by appropriate automation solutions means that shoes can be produced precisely in constant processes, thus saving resources and the environment: without any intermediate products or adhesives, with little waste and low energy consumption. This yields both economic and ecological advantages.

The “Factory of the Future”, which was designed in accordance with state-of-the-art LEAN production methods, went into operation on our company premises in mid- 2020. We will gladly show you around.
